Old Center Cemetery, New Hampshire- The ghost haunting the cemetery is known to be draped in an all white gown. Her name, age, date, and cause of death are all unknown. Investigators have shared that this woman waves to people that enter the cemetery and she is only seen as glow of light. The other spirit is a man who was a Devil worshiper and supposedly sold his soul to him. He suffered a terrible death on the inside of the cemetery gates and was buried under an unmarked grave. This man is known for pestering visitors and making it clear that they are not welcome.
Resurrection Cemetery, Chicago- Best known haunted cemetery in Chicago. It is supposedly haunted by a woman draped in all white. Her name, age and cause of death are unknown. Investigators have proved that when she appears, she appears as a glowing light and waves to visitors one they enter the gates of the cemetery. Also, investigators have used EVP’s to record her and other spirits and they came out with many conversations. There is also, supposedly, a vampire buried in this cemetery and is known to scratch on his coffin when the sun sets. Investigators have reported they can hear the noise from underground.
Huguenot Cemetery, Florida- This is the most haunted cemetery in the state and still remains it’s title. Most of the people buried here suffered yellow fever back in the early 1800’s. Appirations, ghostly lights, and strange figures have all been caught on camera in this location. Also, visitors have reported hearing strange noises and whispers and feeling tugs on their clothing. A well known ghost in the are is John B. Stickney. He has reportedly been seen walking the cemetery searching for items that were taken from his body when he passed. John is known to be an angry spirit and haunts whoever comes in to the cemetery.
Old Western Graveyard, Baltimore- This is home to Edgar Allen Poe and generals and soldiers from the Revolutionary War. Most of this cemetery is made up of people that have been buried alive. They come out in spiritual form and ask for help when visitors enter. Also, Edgar Allen Poe is known to come out in January, the month of his birthday. Investigators say he is dressed in all black and wears a fedora. There are also reports of him talking and wanting to be heard. Legend has it that there has been a skull buried in these grounds. The skull belongs to a murdered sinister. Rumor has it, if you hear screaming, you will eventually become insane.
Green Lady Cemetery, Connecticut- “Green Lady” is known as the ghost haunting this cemetery. She makes sure he presence is noticed to each visitor that enters. It has also been proven that the Green Lady haunted her husband, who eventually went insane and killed himself. A green mist has been captured on film and an unmoving light is seen abover her grave.
St. Louis Cemetery, New Orleans- A voodoo queen, among others, haunts the visiters of this cemetery. There have been reports of orbs above tombstones and whispers in the wind. The vodoo queen over powers all other spirits and it is her presence that is sure to be known.
Stull Cemetery, Kansas- The Stull cemetery is one of the most haunted cemeteries in America. A church was burned down in the ’70’s and all body remains were buried in this cemetery. It is known that the spirits of the burned bodies haunt this area. Investigators report that the spirits call for help and call out to the visitors.
Greenwood Cemetery, Illinois- Most haunted area in the state of Illinois. The spirits haunting this area are soldiers and Confederate prisoners. These spirits come to visiters for answers and rebel against their cause of death.
Silver Cliff Cemetery, Colorado- Numerous ghosts have been spotted around this area and are all unknown. Some of these spirits date back to the early 1800’s. These ghosts are known to be pioneers in previous wars and have come back for reasons unknown. There have been reports of blue lights above tombstones.
Camp Chase Confederate- There have been reports of flowers growing at random times of the season on the grave of a Confederate soldier. The wife of the Confederate soldier is also known to walk the tombstones in search of her husband.
