The internet is swarming with rumors that the HBO’s vampire hit show, True Blood will be made into a movie after the fourth or fifth season. But are these rumors true?
Well if HBO decides to make the hit vampire show into a hit vampire movie waiting until after the foruth or fifth season would be a great time to do it. It is usually about this time that most shows are waning and would need something to juice it up. It would also be conceivable with the short filming schedule to be able to do this along with the series.
With the popularity of vampire movies like Twilight as well as vampire shows like True Blood and Vampire Diaries this would seem to be a great financial risk. The vampire movie business is a $7 billion dollar business in Hollywood and the True Blood movie would add a lot more to this already thriving business.
The rumors say that Alan Ball would be the one writing and directing the movie. He has done such a great job on the adaption of Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse series and would make this a great movie.
So if the movie came to the Lexington theaters how many of you would be there to see it? what about a midnight release? Or even a huge party – before or after?
I am too excited about this- can you imagine seeing Eric on the big screen?
