TMZ has confirmed that Spencer Pratt has indeed reached out to Vivid Entertainment, the self-proclaimed largest adult film company in the world, with an offer to negotiate terms for an alleged sex tape video starring his soon-to-be ex-wife Heidi Montag and himself. Although not much is known about the sex tape video as yet, Vivid admits to being contacted by Spencer Pratt. Could an alleged sex tape video of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag be Vivid Entertainment’s next big production?
Steven Hirsch, president of Vivid, told TMZ Friday, “I just got off the phone with Spencer Pratt about a sex tape with Heidi Montag.” He added, “We are in early negotiations to possibly come to terms for a deal.”
Speculation is running hot on the Internet that the alleged sex tape video is simply another one of Spencer Pratt’s scams to gain more media attention. Some are positing that the sex tape either does not exist at all or, if it does, that Heidi Montag isn’t in it, her part replaced by someone who resembles the blonde bombshell.
Why would Spencer Pratt claim to have a sex tape video that didn’t exist? For starters, he has reportedly run out of money. If true, a sex tape video deal would gain him some much-needed cash. Or Pratt could be driven by a vengeful motive, wanting to strike out at Heidi Montag for leaving him. (She filed for legal separation in June.) Another reason could be a simple addiction to media attention. He — and Heidi Montag — are both known to be somewhat prone to finding ways to get noticed or gain camera time. Perpetrating a sex tape hoax would gain both he and his wife considerable media exposure, both during the perpetration and during the aftermath and the inevitable fallout from the “discovery” of the truth.
As yet, Heidi Montag has not commented on the sex tape video — on whether or not it actually exists or whether or not she stars in it. And if it does exist, it is as yet unclear if the video was shot before or after Heidi Montag’s much publicized cosmetic surgeries.
TMZ reported that a friend of Spencer Pratt’s told them that the alleged Pratt-Montag sex tape video “makes Kim Kardashian look like an amateur.”
If the Heidi Montag sex tape video actually exists, it could become the latest addition to the growing Vivid library of high profile sex tapes. Vivid Entertainment markets adult videos of sex tapes made not only by Kim Kardashian but by Shauna Sand, Mindy McCready, Pam Anderson, Paris Hilton, Kendra Wilkinson, and, more recently, Montana Fishburne.
