Spencer Pratt is attempting to make his soon-to-be ex-wife Heidi Montag into the next Kim Kardashian, only better (he says). And for all those following the story and wondering whether the sex tape video footage contains scenes of the pre-surgeries Heidi Montag or the more enhanced post-ops version of the “The Hills” star, sources have informed TMZ that there is plenty of video — there are multiple sex tapes — and that scenes are from various times during Pratt’s and Montag’s relationship. In fact, TMZ reported Saturday that the “proposed” sex tape with Vivid would include footage of before and after her augmentations.
True to form, Spencer Pratt is already building up the sex tape video as if it is the best one to ever be made. A friend of Pratt’s told TMZ that the ever-self-elevating Pratt told him that his and Heidi Montag’s sex tape(s) “makes Kim Kardashian look like an amateur.” The fact that Kim Kardashian’s sex tape was made by amateurs notwithstanding, Pratt’s braggadocio rings strong when considering that the Kim Kardashian sex tape video was Vivid Entertainment’s biggest seller until Kendra Wilkinson’s sex tape came out in May.
The news broke Friday via TMZ that Spencer Pratt was shopping around a sex tape of Heidi Montag. Steven Hirsch, head of Vivid, told TMZ that he had been in contact with Spencer Pratt about possibly producing and distributing the sex tapes. Hirsch acknowledged that Vivid was in “early negotiations” with Pratt.
It is as yet unclear just how much Heidi Montag knows about the proposed dealings — or even if she knows anything at all. She recently threatened to take legal action against Pratt if he published a tell-all book without mention of other revealing formats, so knowledge of Spencer Pratt’s plans to go public with sex tape videos may not have been something she was particularly worried about at the time. This has led some to question that the content of the videotape may not be authentic, or, rather, question whether or not the female in the videos is actually Heidi Montag.
According to TMZ, Spencer Pratt and his estranged wife agreed to meet in Costa Rica over the weekend. He was to deliver her dogs to her. The animals have been with him since the couple separated.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt became famous from appearing on the MTV reality show “The Hills.” Over six seasons, their names became synonymous with “anything for publicity” and soon defined the current “famous for being famous” wave of quasi-celebrities being developed by Hollywood’s love affair with the cheaply produced but highly lucrative reality show genre. After breaking off their engagement on the season finale of “The Hills” in 2007, the couple married in December 2008 in Mexico and again in April 2009 in the U.S. Heidi Montag filed for legal separation, which many believed to be just another grab-at-attention publicity stunt (some still do), in June.
