While some actresses in Hollywood are all about having babies, Hilary Duff has placed pregnancy firmly in the “not just yet” category.
The “So Yesterday” chick, who married Mike Comrie back in August, is definitely hoping for kids someday, but not anytime soon.
Hilary explained, “We’re not thinking about it at all. We’re excited to have kids but we don’t want to do it now.”
She continued, “We’ve been married for six weeks. We haven’t sent thank-you notes out yet. Can we get that out of the way before?”
Paying a visit to “Live! With Regis and Kelly” to talk about her new book, Hilary Duff was spotted outside of ABC studios in New York City on Tuesday morning (October 12).
The former “Lizzie McGuire” babe looked darling in a knee-length, navy blue short-sleeved dress and heels as she was escorted through the hefty crowd by several bodyguards.
Duff’s new novel, titled “Elixir”, features the adventures of photojournalist named Clea Raymond. It was released on October 12th.
Hilary has had a full schedule of promoting the book which is one of the many she will write for a series of young adult novels for Simon & Schuster.
Newlywed Duff recently admitted that it was a bit difficult to juggle the planning of her August 2010 wedding to hockey player, Mike Comrie, while trying to reach the deadlines for her recently released novel.
“I was planning the wedding, and there’s deadlines with that, too, like getting the location and getting your dress at a certain time.”
Speaking about her book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, Hil added, “They were very good to me during the writing process and very lenient with dates and stuff until the very end. Then it got hectic.”
