Welcome back, curious reader! If you don’t understand why I am so glad you are still reading, you must take a look at the first part of this review called HomeWebsiteCenter: Where’s my Piece of Cake? (Part 1).
As I already told you, I created another free account on HomeWebisteCenter one month after starting my first free membership. Both products advertised were Elite Weight Loss Package, since it’s the only product I had access as a regular member. For my experiment, I promoted the first website around subject-related forums while letting the second one on the loose.
Before explaining any further, let’s make a quick breakthrough of all the options you have in your control panel. First, you can create a new website, though you can only make one if you don’t upgrade to PRO. Beside, you can see a «Get More Customers» button that you can use for $49.95; unfortunately I can’t review this link since I didn’t spend the money to see if it works. The last link on the row is called «Make More Money» but it is only another link to upgrade your account to PRO. On the other row, there are three other options: «Website Statistics», «View My Websites» and «Marketing Center».
At first, I thought «Website Statistics» was a neat advantage since you could see graphs telling you how much people visited your website daily, your browser statistics, the number of people visiting by country, how much sales you made daily and finally, your revenues. As a free member, you only have access to the first graph but it is more than enough to estimate your sales and, seriously, is anybody in the world who cares about from which country comes your visitors?
On a more personal point of view, I was thrilled to see the number of visitors growing each day. At least for the first month, but all that excitement changed when I made another website and saw curious coincidence between both websites visiting proportions. See, the growth proportion was similar, even identical depending on days, compared to my first advertising website though I didn’t spend a single minute promoting the second.
After three months, prepare yourself for approximately 180 to 240 visitors each day and roughly zero sales or at least no payments on your Paypal account. I even changed completely the domain name of my first website and still had 200 visitors on the first day online. Therefore, all these statistics seems like sparkling powder to me and you should be aware to be very cautious while investing money in HomeWebsiteCenter.
From this point, I lost interest in the website and stopped looking over my control panel; forgetting slowly about this evil marketing scheme excepted for those lonely, rather distant, emails. Four months passed and I still didn’t saw the color of any HomeWebsiteCenter money but it looks like The Man running this site think otherwise (or was it a bot…) and sent me an email congratulating me for making it into Top50 best free sellers this month giving me the opportunity of, you guessed it, having a HUGE discount on PRO package. Yeah right…, thank you scam bot though I made a resolution not to give any money to Nigerian prince and I also know that you can’t win a lottery you did not participate in.
Please, be serious before throwing money out of your Windows© because, as a famous character once said (was it Hitler… Or maybe Gandhi, whatever):
«It’s not because someone calls you a friend that he is yours»
Inspiring, isn’t it? I admit it, this quote is from me but you get the point! Watch out for scams, also don’t forget to come back for other tips and reviews about other malicious schemes and much more.
