How to Abstain from Sex Using Biblical Scriptures
Many people act like they will die if they did not have sex. That is such a crazy way of thinking. I have not heard of anyone dying, for not having sex. What many people don’t realize when it comes to not having sex, is that it’s all in your mind. If you are not constantly thinking about it, it will not be your focus in life. Whatever you spend your time looking at, lusting after, then that will end up being your focus and your downfall. If you are the few individuals, who are waiting to get married before sex, or even what to abstain from sex, here’s some biblical scriptures to mediate on.
Romans 12:2 (NIV)”Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will”.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)”Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body”.
Psalm 119:9 (NIV) “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
Leviticus 20:7 (Amplified Bible) “Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am the Lord your God”.
