Everyone was not born into money and riches. I imagine it is great for those that have been born into money. Everyone does not win the lottery. Anything worth having is worth working for. Sometimes there may be those that want success instantly. Or there may be those that think they can work at something maybe for a month or even a couple of months and expect to see instant success. What some fail to realize is that “Rome was not built in a day.” In other words, people need to see that “there is no success without sacrifice.”
I love to read and see the life story of many of the stars and famous people that we see today. It shows me that they did not get their success instantly. So many times we look at people without realizing where it is that they have come from and not seeing what it took to get them there.
Sometimes people might ask how many times do I have to fail before I succeed? For some they may have had years of failure before they saw success. Others maybe months. The important thing about failures is whether we learn from them. Whether we look at failures and try again. Sometimes it may be a struggle. But struggling and hard work will pay off. Struggling and hard work will help build character. Have you ever thought of how many times a prominent lawyer may have had to take the bar exam before passing? Have you ever thought of how many times a Realtor had to take that Real Estate test to become a Realtor? How many times have you failed before you arrived where you are at today?
If you are doing something and it is not working, that should tell you that there needs to be a change. You cannot keep doing the same thing and expect results. If something is not working or going the way that you would like it to, then there needs to be a change. Most people are resistant to change, because they become accustom to the same old things. They become comfortable with routine, myself included. You need to “step outside of the boss.” Do something out of the norm. When you find something that works continue doing that over and over. Above all don’t keep it to yourself, share this with others. You need to change your way of thinking and doing in order to succeed.
Know that for every action there is a consequence. Do you have a strategy to become successful? Do you have a plan? Do you even know where you are going? Are you just ” spinning your wheels” and going nowhere?
It is one thing to have a dream. It is another thing to make your dream come true. You can sit back and wait for that big check to come from the PCH clearinghouse contest or you can put some plans into action to achieve what it is that you want. Do you know what you want?
