Step 1: Clean the turkey. Pull all giblets and internal organs out, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel. Let rest 5 minutes. Pat dry again with paper towel.
Step 2: Season with Sage, Poultry season, black pepper, Garlic powder, Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
Step 3: Heavily season cavity of turkey. Then season outside. Massage Seasonings into the Turkey.
Step 4:Cover and Place turkey into refrigerator overnight to marinade.
Step 1: Remove turkey from refrigerator.
Step 2: Allow up to 30 mins. to ensure that the turkey is not frozen at all.
Step 3: Pour peanut oil into the turkey fryer and preheat to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
**NOTE** Use a cooking thermometer to assure that the oil is at 375 for at least 15 minutes.**
Step 4: Place the turkey into the fryer basket . Slowly submerge the turkey into the fryer so that you will not be splashed by hot oil.
**NOTE** Wear heatproof mittens to better protect your hands. Also an apron is recommended.**
Step 5: Periodically check your turkey for 1 hour cooking time.
Step 6: Slowly raise turkey from fryer allowing excess oil and fat to drip from the turkey, Allow turkey to rest on a cooling rack to drain for 15 minutes.
Step 7: Place on platter. Slice and Enjoy! Bon appetite!!!
