You may have heard a lot of horror stories when it comes to being paid by Google and the Adsense Publishers Program, but are all the bad words justified?
The answers are both complex and simple, but almost certainly not warranting all the bad hype that has recently been branded about Adsense.
There are a great many millions of happy and satisfied users of the PPC format, but there are many less unsatisfied users of the Google Adsense service, and it is all down to ethical and correct use of the online earning potential Google provides to its users and members.
Nobody likes to be scammed, that also goes for a company such as Google, and so if anybody intends to try and be unethical in their business practices with Adsense, then they might as well give it all up now.
For the many millions of Adsense Publishers who are getting paid at the end of the month then Google are simply a fantastic source of secondary income, or passive income as it is also known. The reason why many Publishers are paid and others are not is basically because they done things right and followed the terms of service (TOS) of Google to the book.
Ok sometimes things might not be straight forward and mistakes are made, so it is important to get as much advice as you can from the Adsense Forums, the facility is there for you to learn and pass on your knowledge so it is advised that you do use it before implementing any adverts to your Websites.
Google do not like copyright issues or adult material that can cause offense, you should be warned that if you do have a Website that contains such material then you could be breaking the TOS of Google and should be avoided. If in doubt seek advice in the forums.
Never ever be tempted to click your own adverts, even if it is just curiosity or genuine interest, and do not have your friends clicking adverts either as it will be found in the system during the checks by Google Staff… they are not stupid and they know just about every trick in the book, you have been warned!
Basically if you want to bring in a passive income from Google Adsense then you need to follow all the good business practices as you would if you had your own business and have a customer base, as it is your own business so treat it like one.
If you follow all the rules, take no short cuts, take no silly risks or become fraudulent, then you will have an income from Google Adsense. It won’t happen overnight and you are going to have to put some time and effort into your work, but it will all be worthwhile in the end… and this advice comes from someone who is having some success with Google, namely me.
