You may not have known this if you are new to Facebook, but you can edit photos that you have already uploaded. In this guide, I will show you how to edit photos you have already uploaded on Facebook. By editing these photos, you can change the caption, or add a caption to them, make a photo the album cover, and move photos to another album. You can get started with this guide by logging into Facebook.
Loading Your Photos in Facebook
Let’s start by loading a photo you want to edit. Go to the profile page of your Facebook account and click Photos. The photos tab is right above the What’s on Your Mind? Box. Once you click the Photos tab, you will see the albums that you have created. Locate the album with the photo you wish to edit and open the album. Then click the photo you want to edit.
Changing the Album Cover
If you want to make the photo the album cover of the album it is in, follow these steps. At the bottom of the photo, click the Edit link. When the page reloads, look right below the photo and you will see the “Make This Album Cover” check box. Check that box and click the Save button at the bottom of the box. That photo will then become the album cover of the album you are in.
Move Your Photo to Another Album
If you want to move a photo to another album, you will need to open the photo that you want to move. Then you will need to click the Edit link at the bottom of the photo. On the following page, look for the Move box under the photo. Click that box and select the name of the album you want to move the photo to. Make your selection and click the Save button. The photo will then be moved.
Adding or Editing Photo Captions
Now I will show you how to edit or add photo captions to photos. If you already have a caption, you can edit it. If you don’t have a caption, you can add one. Open the photo you want to add the caption to. At the bottom of the photo, you will see the Add Caption link. Click that link and a box will open. Add the caption and click the Save button to save the caption. To edit a caption, click the Pencil icon at the beginning of the caption. Edit the caption and click the Save button to save the changes.
