Do you have too much earwax in your ears? Earwax accumulates in everyone’s ears, but too much earwax can cause problems. You don’t have to live with excess earwax because there are many solutions for it. Here are some ways to get rid of earwax…
Hydrogen peroxide works extremely well at cleaning ears. This is a very common way of getting rid of excess earwax. You can do this by tilting your head to the side and pouring some of the hydrogen peroxide into your ear. This will most likely feel like a cold and bubbly sensation inside of your ear and that’s completely normal. Keep your head tilted with the hydrogen peroxide in it for a minute or two, and then tilt your head to the opposite side and allow the hydrogen peroxide to come out. You may want to get a paper towel to absorb the liquid that will be coming out. The hydrogen peroxide will clean your ear and loosen any excess earwax and allow it to come out.
It’s said that a lot of the people that have excess earwax don’t consume enough fish oil. You get fish oil from eating fish, and it is extremely beneficial to humans in so many ways. They sell fish oil capsules at most stores that have a health section and you can get fish oil by eating fish on a regular basis. Most people should be consuming fish oil anyway, so it couldn’t hurt to try.
Many people use qtips to clean their ears by sticking them inside of their ear canal. This is not what qtips are for and it will actually do more damage than good. Putting qtips inside of your ear pushes earwax back into your ear canal, rather than pulling it out. Earwax is there to protect your ear from germs and infections, so by pushing earwax farther into your ear canal, you are also pushing anything that was caught by the earwax.
The hot water will help to loosen the earwax. Let some of the hot water flow into your ear and tilt your head to the side to keep it inside for a little bit. After you have kept the hot water in your ear for a minute or two, tilt your head to the opposite side and allow the water to flow back out. Do this for each ear, and you can do this multiple times.
Warm Olive Oil
The warmth of the olive oil will help loosen the earwax. You should let the olive oil stay in your ear for a few minutes, and then tilt your head to the other side. This will allow for the olive oil to come out. You should put some water in your ear afterwards, let it sit for a second, then tilt your head the other way to allow it to flow out. Do this to both ears.
