Whether a guy will admit to it, they want to be remembered on Valentine’s day just as much as you do. It is likely that they do not want stuffed animals and heart shaped boxes of candy, but something more manly that they would use.
Things You’ll Need:
* creative mind
* some cash
When considering manly gifts for your guy, think of what his interests are. Does he like chocolate? Has he been hinting around for a new watch? Take these things into thought when you planning a trip to the mall to pick him out a gift.
If chocolate is his thing, there are places online that sell “manly” chocolate, like www.slipperybrick.com were you can get chocolate shaped like tools.
Don’t buy him things because you think they are cute. Guys don’t really want cute things. Just because the boxers you saw were decorated with pink hearts doesn’t mean they are a perfect Valentine’s Day gift. Also consider that it is not really a gift if it is something that he needs.
If you are considering buying underwear or anything to that sort, consider buying some lingerie. Although it is technically for you, it is something that he will enjoy too- seeing you in it and taking it off.
Stuffed animals and balloons are not manly. They do not qualify as a manly Valentine’s Day gift. Instead think of power tools, model cars or Ed Hardy t-shirts. Again, this would be a good time to consider things that he likes to do or has mentioned wanting.
If you are having a cash flow shortage due to all the bills you had to pay on the first of the month, consider something less expensive like going to the movies or to the bar for some drinks and a game of pool. As long as the movie isn’t some chick flick that you’ve been dying to see, chances are, he will enjoy himself.
*Don’t be afraid to ask him what he wants for Valentine’s Day. There is a good chance he won’t tell you, but it never hurts to ask.
*Even if he won’t admit it, he will appreciate the gesture that you thought to get him something he would like.
