I know there are many women out there and some men that like to use exfoliating body scrubs to help exfoliate and soften up their dry rough skin. For those of you women and men that do use exfoliating body scrub you should try making your own favorite scented moisturizing exfoliating body scrub. It is very easy to make and more exfoliating than store brand exfoliating body scrubs.
The ingredients you will need to make your own favorite scented moisturizing exfoliating body scrub are 2 cups of your favorite scented body lotion, 2 cups of white sugar, and ¼ cup of olive oil. The sugar and olive oil can be found at your local grocery store and your favorite scented lotion you should be able to find at the store you get it at if you don’t have these ingredients on hand. Now if you don’t have a favorite scented body lotion to use to make this scrub with you can always take 2 cups of your favorite unscented body lotion and take 1 tablespoon of your favorite body spray or perfume and place that into the lotion and use this to replace the scent body lotion. If you are scented to fragrances you can always just use a simple unscented body lotion to make an unscented exfoliating body scrub.
The way you would make your favorite scented moisturizing exfoliating scrub is by taken the 2 cups of your favorite scented body lotion, 2 cups of white sugar, and ¼ cup of olive oil and placing them into a medium sized container. Then all you would do us combined the ingredients together with a metal spoon until you get a thick gritty sugary moisturizing exfoliating body scrub. After you can either take the scrub into the bathroom to use right away in the shower or you can place a lid on the container and use it whenever you get to using it.
The best way I find to use my favorite scented moisturizing exfoliating body scrub is by getting into my shower and rinsing down from head to toe with warm water. Then I wash up like I would usually do and take a couple handfuls of the scrub and massage it into my skin using a circular motion with my hands until I feel the dry rough skin has been fully removed. Now while you are using this moisturizing exfoliating scrub the new skin underneath the dry rough skin will become moisturized and nourished by your favorite scented body lotion which is super nice. After I am done using the scrub I rinse off with warm water, pat my skin dry, and apply a rich creamy nourishing body butter to really helps soften and protect my skin so it is bright, glowing, and beautiful appearing. When you go to use the scrub yourselves you will notice the scrub smells just the way you like it, will feel slightly greasy and be very gritty when you go to use it, and will leave your skin super soft and smelly so good after using it.
You may also use your own homemade favorite scented moisturizing exfoliating body scrub as a hand scrub and foot scrub to help exfoliated your feet and hands. I know one of my friends uses her scrub for exfoliating and hydrating your dry winter face, but those with acne or super oily skin should not do this.
Anyways, I do hope all you exfoliating body scrub users will like this beauty trick and tip to help create your own favorite scented moisturizing exfoliating body scrub. I wish you all the best with getting very soft glowing skin.
