The NCP (National Consumer Panel) started in 1987. The NCP company was established in 1923 by Arthur Charles Nielsen Sr/, an American Market Analyst. It is also accredited by the Better Business Bureau. NCP recently joined venture with Information Resources.

Do you like to complete surveys? You may receive paper surveys or online surveys. Paper surveys are sent in the mail and can be answered by using your scanner. The online surveys are quick and easy. The good thing about the surveys is that it is an excellent way to share your opinion. Also, you can do this at a time that is convenient for you.
Once you sign up to become a NCP panel member, you will receive a scanner in the mail to scan your products after you shop. You will scan everything you buy that has a barcode. It is very simple. If you have noticed the handheld scanners that the cashiers use in the stores, your scanner that you receive in the mail is similar. You can scan grocery items, clothing, samples, nearly everything that you purchase that has a barcode. Your scans will be submitted weekly by telephone on a toll-free line. The submission takes less than 3-4 minutes. It is short, sweet, and snappy.
So you decide to got on vacation and will not be able to scan your items. Just notify the NCP panel and let them know when you will be able to resume scanning again.
5. Gift Points Program
When you join the panel, you automatically receive 1,000 sign-up-gift points When you transmit your weekly submission you automatically receive points. The longer that you have been a member the more points you receive. A member for 1-6 months 150 points, 7-12 months 200 point, 1-2years 225 points, 2 years 235 points, 3 years, 245 points, 4 years 255 points, 5 years 280 points 6 years or more 325 points.

9. Instructional Video
Are you a person that learns visually? Would you prefer visual instructions? Then you will definitely like the instructional videos. NCP also offers an instructional video for your scanner setup, scanning your purchase, learning to use your scanner, scanning your purchases, answering surveys and transmitting your data. They walk you through. So you are not alone in your endeavor.
10. Instruction Manual
You will also receive an instruction manual with your scanner. You will be able to make a practice survey and participate in a practice submission.
As a panel member of the NCP I can personally say I have never had a problem with NCP. There has always been someone available to assist me if I needed assistance. This is a great way to earn products for my family and for my home, because they offer something for everyone.
