Laughter is one of the best alternative medicine. It helps you to forget about your problems. It helps to increase those endorphins that help your body, mind and soul. Endorphins are hormones that are natural pain killers. Have you thought about the people that go through life always serious and never laughing? Do you know someone like this. Have you thought about people that very seldom smile or laugh?
Laughter is one of the best natural therapy that one could have. According to Discovery Health.Com “It is estimated that laughing 100 times is equal to 10 minutes on the rowing machine or 15 minutes on an exercise bike.” So laughing definitely is good for your health. Have you noticed that it is difficult to continue laughing and not feel good? Laughter does something for the mental health as well as the physical health.
According to Mayo-Clinic.com “Laughing can stimulate many organs.” “which includes the intake of oxygen-rich air, stimulating your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain.”
Laughter allows you to forget about your problems at that moment. Have you noticed that when some public speakers stand up to speak before a crowd that they will usually tell a joke. The joke causes laughter which will usually loosen up the audience and cause the audience to feel more at ease.
Have you been able to take a situation and find the humor in I? Possibly you may have even laughed about it later. Doctors have found that laughter does reduce stress. Laughter can help strengthen your immune system. Laughter helps you release those endorphins that help the body to naturally feel good.
Have you ever heard of people that die of a broken heart. That is a true statement. Sometimes when people are so sad from the loss of a love one, they do not have the strength or the will to continue in life. Laughter in a person’s life can change that sad feeling and give them hope.
Laughter is a mood changer. Have you seen people that are mad and serious most of the time? Or have you encountered a person that was angry? Sometimes just being able to get that person to laugh, can change their entire mood. It also can attract others to you. No one wants to be around a gloomy, sullen, person. Most people want to be around people that make them laugh and make them feel good.
Have you observed when you go into a store whether the associate smiles at you? Is the associate frowning or even rude to you? Doesn’t this affect you? Does it make you feel less appreciated? A smiling associate gives you a good shopping experience and makes you want to come back again and again.

6. Comedy Club
Ever been to a comedy club? Well comedy clubs are great for making you laugh. A good clean joke can bring laughter to your soul. Comedy pictures and/or movies are good also. Have you noticed when you watch some comedies on television that you laugh so hard? Again I say, laughter has healing powers.
Do you ever just play around with your children? Do your children love to be tickled? Children know that when they are laughing, it helps them to feel good.
7. Role Reversal
Have you ever tried role reversal with your children and or/spouse? Try it. It is amazing how others may perceive you. This will sometimes keep you laughing. It may be especially funny as each person attempts to act like the other person.
