Human Target season two was postponed by Fox. The Human Target season premiere for season two was supposed to air on Friday, October 1, but when Fox decided to cancel Lone Star, they also decided to change some of their other shows. Instead of sticking to what they told fans was going to take place, Human Target fans instead tuned in on Friday night to find that their show wasn’t even on. Without any warning from Fox, Human Target season two was pushed back to November, and now it won’t even be on Friday nights. So much for the best laid plans of the network, and once again a network is going to shuffle a show around until the viewers can’t find it anymore.
Lone Star made it through just two episodes before Fox canceled it due to low ratings. What ended up taking place was that Lone Star was removed from the Fox schedule, and got replaced with Lie to Me in the time slot. Lie to Me was supposed to debut later in the season, and now that Fox has one less sweeps debut, they decided to hold off on airing any episodes of Human Target until sweeps month. The Human Target season 2 premiere will now be on Wednesday, November 17, and hopefully it is still able to draw in all of the viewers that had planned on watching it Friday nights. With the cliffhanger that last season ended with, fans have been waiting quite a while to find out where the characters are heading.
It’s unclear if Human Target will run original episodes until the December holidays, or if the schedule will suddenly become very sporadic. For now, fans of the show must wait another seven weeks before they get to see the new season premiere.
