Ines Sainz interviews Ben Roethlisberger of the Steelers as both are back in the game this Sunday. This will be Sainz’s first NFL assignment since taking a break from her duties, NFL.fanhouse.com reports. The female sports reporter has taken a hiatus since September after reportedly being harassed by New York Jets players while interviewing Mark Sanchez in the locker room.
Ben Roethlisberger will be her Sainz’s interview after resuming her NFL duties for TV Azteca in Mexico.
Ines Sainz is vowing not to go into anymore locker rooms after her incident with the Jets in September when they allegedly were throwing footballs in her direction and making catcalls and whistles to get her attention. The NFL did an investigation and concluded the Jets violated rules of conduct, but no punishment was handed out to the team.
“I’m not going into the locker rooms anymore,” Sainz said. “It’s not a good place right now for me. I don’t want to be in there.”
Probably a good idea. That’s no place for a lady.
Ines Sainz interviews Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, this Sunday when he gets back in the game after a four game suspension. Sainz and Roethlisberger meeting is one of irony. He comes back after a suspension violating NFL rules of conduct in a sexual assault matter and Ines Sainz comes back after she’s been harassed by NFL players. It’s an ironic assignment for her first interview.
Will it be one of the most anticipated interviews for the NFL and the Steelers? It will certainly be for TV Azeca when they see Ines Sainz back in the game. The Steelers will be happy to get Ben Roethlisberger back on theirs!
