Humanitarian and former president of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter, has taken ill today. Carter, who will 86 on October 1st, was on a an airplane on his way to Cleveland for a book signing.
Carter was taken to a Cleveland hospital post- flight after complaining of feeling sick. Carter is in stable condition and is coherent. The hospital is keeping him for “observation” before they give the okay to release him.
Carter’s flight was originally out of Atlanta to Cleveland. According to sources, Carter was “airsick” and threw up while on the flight. When the flight landed and he deplaned, he was transported to the hospital.
Carter was recently in the news for, one of his many humanitarian acts, aiding in the release of an American hostage in North Korea.
“White House Diary” was the book written by Carter that he was going to sign autograph’s too. We wish the former president well and are thinking about he and his family.
