Attention Park Slope: The Park Slope Civic Council (PSCC) wants to hear from you! But first, they want to take you on a little stroll down 4th avenue.
Saturday November 6th, at 9:30 am the PSCC will be hosting what the Brooklyn Eagle somewhat playfully termed a “Walkabout” but which the PSCC calls “Moving Forward on Fourth.”
After meeting on the east side of Fourth ave under the 9th street subway station, a number of speakers will educate attendees about a number of issues that are confronting the neighborhood, then (or maybe at the same time), lead everybody on a walk down Fourth ave to Sackett street.
At some point during the walk, the PSCC is also going to ask for feedback, questions and suggestions from attendees. So this is your chance to hear directly from the Council and to have them hear directly from you!
Specific issues to be addressed are the plans for the 9th street and 4th ave subway station, plans to beautify the 4th ave corridor, renovations to Washington Park, proposals for the empty lot at Sackett St.
If interested in attending, email the PSCC at firstname.lastname@example.org to register. Also, visit the PSCC website for more information.
