Married and domesticated, Kendra Wilkinson is still the same fun-loving, California blond! Even with a baby in tow, this ex-girlfriend of Hugh Hefner entertained us with her free-spirited personality, contagious smile and occasional booty-shaking in the second season of her own reality show, Kendra. I loved seeing her in all the episodes of her sweet, little life. Now that she’s back for a third season of Kendra, I can’t wait until it starts!
Kendra Wilkinson was first introduced to us as one of the Girls Next Door, E!’s hit reality series documenting Hugh Hefner’s then girlfriends. I liked Holly and Bridget, but Kendra was my favorite of the three!
Seeking neither fame nor fortune, the sporty nineteen-year old was simply there for a good time. She was the low maintenance one always up for anything fun – a quintessential girl-next-door, with a smoking hot body of course!
As The Girls Next Door progressed, Kendra decided to leave the Playboy mansion and start her own spin off, Kendra. With a surprising twist in life, she became pregnant with her then boyfriend, NFL player Hank Baskett.
During the first two season of Kendra, we saw her lovely wedding, the birth of her son, and many endearing moments of her life as wife and mother. But still every so often, she lets out that hearty laughter, and does that famous booty shake.
So many reality TV shows are scripted these days, but Kendra doesn’t appear to be one of them! Her attitude is pretty much “What you see is what you get”. It’s a refreshing change seeing someone so good-looking doing the silliest things. I believe that the show’s success has to be Kendra’s ability to stay true to herself.
From a wide-eyed teenager to a beautiful mommy, from the Playboy mansion to a house in the suburbs, Kendra Wilkinson pretty much grew up right on our TV. Yet she remains fun-loving and down-to-earth, which is exactly why we all fell in love with her. In the third season of Kendra, I can’t wait to see more laughter and fun.
Kendra’s new season premieres on November 7, 2010 at 10/9 Central, on the E! Channel.
