Lake Lanier Islands Resort, known for its light displays during the holidays, will be presenting a thrilling Halloween event in metro Atlanta that the whole family will enjoy called the Haunted Nights of Lights.
The Haunted Nights of Lights is described as the “most complete Halloween experience” in metro Atlanta. It is a three-mile drive through Halloween-themed animated light displays featuring Frankenstein and his bride, Dracula and the flying bats, the giant serpent beast and beast keeper, a virtual tunnel with flying ghosts, leaping goblins and more.
The Haunted Nights of Lights drive ends at the resort’s Haunted Village, which includes carnival rides, a fun house, a haunted maze, pony rides, a marshmallow roast and other Halloween attractions.
This popular Halloween event in metro Atlanta takes place from October 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010. Daily hours of operation are from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Admission prices for the Haunted Nights of Lights event are $20 per car on Mondays through Thursdays and $25 per car on Fridays through Sundays. Prices of carnival rides and other attractions at the Haunted Village are extra, however special Halloween package deals are available. Lake Lanier Islands Resort is located approximately 30 miles north of Atlanta at 7000 Holiday Road in Buford, Georgia. From Atlanta take I-85 North to I-985 North to exit 8, Friendship Road, which turns into Holiday Road. Follow signs to the resort.
