A ministry-team (of which I am a partner) sets its cornerstone in The Prosperity Gospel. That’s fine (as Our Father abounds in all good things), but they then call that prosperity’s abundance “money.”
(Actually, they know that ‘money’ is only the most-common secondary effect of that abundance–proof that the world’s humans recognize the abundance shining-through in a Christian’s actions-of-love (donations, ministries, healings, etc.) and offer-up worldly wealth in order to lift the Christian actions above others’ works and -above their own works–but that process gets lost in distribution.)
The main fault seen in this ministry over-&-over is the perpetuation of “debt.” ‘Debt’ is the basis of the economy’s power; you blame ‘the economy’ for the world’s trouble (claiming that you do things because of ‘the economy,’ even claiming that the world has a ‘bad economy’), that’s payment you give to Satan.
(Even in an article discussing the way our tongues can perpetuate the curse, the ministry-team’s leader manages to ‘pay Satan!’)
The Truth? ‘The economy’ is nothing but a house-of-cards—a “stronghold” built in your mind. It has only ‘stood’ for so long because it has protected the children of God, and God only protects ‘strongholds’ if they protect God’s children; when the children ‘go Prodigal’ (taking their inheritance and turning away from Our Father’s path), the ‘house-of-cards’ loses Our Father’s protection & falls apart at the first slight disturbance.
