The dreaded cholesterol numbers are as silent as a heart attack. They lie in wait undisturbed and unchallenged until they get checked. Even adding to it’s numbers if anything is eaten or drank hours before a test. And after if the numbers are above 200 the bells will ring to watch your cholesterol.
If the numbers hit 240 the fire alarm will wail danger, danger.
Cholesterol numbers can be downright frightening not because of what cholesterol is which is just a fat but because it’s the stuff of heart attacks. Bad cholesterol can stick together and bind to other substances in the blood the way a beaver builds a dam until its completion, which means blood gets dammed up and a heart attack spasm would be forced to try to break the blood through.
In lowering cholesterol a human must remember foods made from an animal or an animal by product will contain cholesterol unless the product has had the cholesterol removed. Even us humans regardless of if we stop eating animal products our bodies will make cholesterol.
Cutting out animal products though should help to lower cholesterol.
Will not eating lower cholesterol?
It would depend on how much cholesterol has been built up in the body and if the body is getting an appropriate amount of exercise. Weight can affect cholesterol not only through foods that are eaten but even if foods containing no cholesterol are all that is eaten ones own body due to its fat content may produce higher amounts of cholesterol.
Should Vitamin K be taken with cholesterol above 200?
With any cholesterol number bouncing over the 200 mark Vitamin K should be on suspension possibly permanently. Vitamin K is not going to make the blood thinner and if there is a narrowing of the arteries with cholesterol binding onto things in the bloodstream the regulating clotting factor of K wouldn’t let the blood get any thinner if need be to squeeze through the narrowing arteries.
Another thing to watch when trying to lower cholesterol is not what you eat but what you drink. Soda is known to string beside Hypertension.
Will soda raise cholesterol?
Soda is problematic with its interaction on things. It can effect the Calcium and Phosphorous ratio in the body and it can disturb how things get broken down or absorption in the body so it could disrupt the balance between good and bad cholesterol and annihilate part of the break down that goes along with the process. It could interfere with signals.
Lecithin, Lignin as well as eating oatmeal, potatoes, squash and strawberries can lower cholesterol. However, a rare hereditary condition called Type IV Lipidemia won’t allow the body to utilize cholesterol.
