When I got this newsletter I knew I had to share this with everyone that I know. This is definitely the season for film festival. So during the week of September 26th thru October 3rd there will be over 100,000 people in over 200 cities participating in their local cinemas, galleries and cafes to view and vote on the finalist films for the 2010 Manhattan Short Festival.
The closest local festival to my area wil take place at The Kentucky Center for Performing Arts in Louisville, KY.
So, stop by and be the judge of the Finalist’s Films. Each person at the venue in your town will be given a voting car and asked to vote for only one film that they think should win. The votes are counted and sent to Manhattan Short and the winner is announced on Sunday October 3rd. Go here to read more.
If you would like to submit your film visit the Manhattan Film Festival’s official page here.
The standard ticket price is $7 for general admission. Tickets are available online, by phone at 502-584-777 and in person at The Kentucky Center Box Office.
You can follow The Kentucky Arts Center on Facebook here or on Twitter here.
