Preparation ease: 5 stars. McCormick Pork Gravy is quick and simple to make. It is just 5 minutes from start to finish. Follow the instructions provided on the package and you will make the perfect gravy every time.
Taste: 5 stars. This is one of my family’s favorite McCormick gravy mixes. It is rich and delicious.
Packaging: 5 stars. McCormick’s signature red packaging is easy to find on the store shelf. The pork gravy mix has a deep brown band across the top, with white lettering, spelling out the type of mix. The McCormick logo is prominently displayed on the label in the company’s traditional red, white and blue colors. A picture of the gravy over pork is also shown in order to whet your appetite.
Freshness: 5 stars. McCormick gravy ingredients are always flash dehydrated to ensure the ultimate in freshness. McCormick Pork Gravy will last a long time if it isn’t exposed to moisture.
Dietary value: 2 stars. The gravy contains no fat and is relatively low in carbs. While salt content is high, it doesn’t vary much from other similar products in the marketplace. While this gravy has trace amounts of folic acid, iron, mononitrate, niacin, riboflavin and thiamin, it is in insufficient quantities. Therefore, this mix has no real nutritional value.
Ease of purchase: 5 stars. McCormick products can be found in most grocery stores as well as in discount department stores with a grocery section. They are even carried in some convenience or specialty food stores.
Price: 5 stars. McCormick gravy mixes are always affordable. They generally retail between $1 and $1.50 per package. The actual price varies from mix to mix. It also depends somewhat on upon where the gravy mix is purchased. However, McCormick almost always has coupon offers aimed at offsetting the cost.
Product purchase probability: 4 stars. This one is usually, although not always, in my kitchen drawer
Retailer purchase probability: 5 stars. I purchase mine at the commissary where McCormick Pork Gravy retails for under $1.
Final rating: 4.6 stars. This one is winner!
