Once you have created site admins for your site in PHP Nuke, you may need to modify the settings and permissions you have allowed certain admins to have. In this tutorial, I am going to show PHP Nuke users how to modify site admins and delete site admins.
Opening the Site Admins Modify Panel
You will need to begin with opening your site admins panel. This panel is located in your administrator’s area. In the administrator’s area, you will need to locate the Edit Admins icon and click it. That will load your site admins page and you can begin modifying your site admins in PHP Nuke.
Modifying Site Admins Information in PHP Nuke
If you need to change the permissions for a site admin or edit other fields about the site admins, follow these steps. Look through your page and find the Edit Admins box. Once you find this box, you are going to see the site admins you have created so far. To modify the information on a site admin, you will need to locate the site admin. Then you will need to click the pencil and paper icon in the last column.
Your page will now reload and you will see the fields and the permissions that are selected for this particular admin. You can go through this section and modify what you want. To take permissions away, uncheck the permissions. If you want to add permissions, check the box next to the permissions you want to add. When you are finished, click the Save button to save your changes.
Deleting Site Admins in PHP Nuke
If you need to delete site admins from your PHP Nuke site, no problem. All you have to do is located the site admin that you want to delete. Then look in the last column and click the red X icon. You will be asked if you really want to delete the site admin. Click Yes and they will be deleted.
