A lot of women turn to alternative treatments to help with the conditions. Certain exercises have been listed on alternative medicine treatment lists for CAM.
So let us take a look at women’s health and alternatives to see how they can aide us now before it becomes too late. Also, how they can help in certain conditions and diseases. Below are some of the things that can aide women in being health smart and/or help any current medical issues.

It aides in many conditions such as allergies and asthma, slowing down aging, arthritis, back pain, cardiovascular benefits and fibromyalgia. Tia Chi is often referred to as the “medicine in motion”. The truth of the matter is it does help in the treatment of many conditions. It is slow, graceful movements which is just a great exercise practice in general.
Yoga aides in health and overall quality ones self. Yoga increases body awareness, flexibility, posture and brings a calmness. It is also on alternative medicine listings. Yoga has many attributes that helps with a lot of women’s issues, one being menopause. Just by simply doing the stretches it provides benefits to you mind and body, gives you energy and balance. Due to the fact hormone levels are out of sync at this time it helps provide relaxations, blood circulation improves and oxygenation to the cells and tissues. Yoga is a great exercise to find peace and tranquility and reduce those stress levels women endure on a daily basis.
As we get older we are prone to the possibility of getting osteoporosis. When women are post menopausal we are especially susceptible to osteoporosis due to lack of estrogen. Among taking calcium supplements and other nutrients are bodies will require they also need to be strengthened.
Strength training enables us to increase bone mass especially in the area of the spine. It helps provide more muscle strength, better balance and actually helps us in living longer full filled lives.
Carido exercises use the large muscle group. This causes your heart and lungs to constantly send oxygen from your lungs to your blood and working muscles. If you enjoy fast paced work out this could just be the thing to help your blood flowing.
Women need to eat healthy. We obtain this by keeping the food we consume in check that will make our bodies strong, give us energy and have the proper nourishment we require. We need to choose healthy snacks in between our regular meals if we feel hungry or just need an energy boost. We need to cover all of the food groups but remember to consume healthy fat foods. Other things we can do is to stir fry instead of grilling. Use more dried herbs on our foods instead of butter. Always trim the fat off of meat this holds true for most all persons. Quick diets are never the answer. Diets can be done just by eating the proper foods and elimination of a lot of things our bodies do not need extra amounts of.
Acupuncture can help reduce stress in our bodies. Acupuncture has been useful in many conditions women face such as PMS, menopause symptoms, thyroid conditions, hormone induced headaches, chronic yeast infections and infertility.
Chiropractic care concentrates on the disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Along with the effects of the disorders on our general health. Chiropractic is the number one alternative treatment currently.
