Pink curtains can be feminine. However, they can also be something that can make it into the main living space of your home. It’s just a matter of finding the right silhouette and shade of pink for your room.
If you’re using this in a formal living space then you just want to go with more subtle pink accents. This could just be pink roses and green vines against a cream background. Floral fabrics have always been very popular in home decorating. These used to appear a lot on couches but now people are opting for more neutral colors. This doesn’t mean that you still can’t work this into your space.
You can also really use pink curtains to solve some design problems. If you are decorating a teenagers room, they might still have pink walls from their youth. In this case, you can just really compliment this. You will need to go a little bit more edgy. A great way to do this is with a cornice box. You could just layer inexpensive hot pink sheers. Then go with a more dramatic look on your cornice box. This could be a zebra print or even a faux leather. The leather could be black but if you want to go with a hot pink then this will get attention. A way to do this is to go with a crocodile leather kind of look in a black. This can be quite expensive per yard but you will only need to just use a little bit of it.
This can also be a retro design style. In this case you want to go for a string effect. Of course, this doesn’t provide you with a lot of privacy. However it does add a lot of sparkle into the space. This is a great way to highlight an entryway or create a fun basement lounge.
