Week 4 of the 2010 NFL preseason is complete, and now all attention is focused on the regular season as fans can look forward to real pro football with the best athletes competing against each other. The first game of the NFL regular season is a marquee match up as Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings travel to New Orleans to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Saints.

NFL Regular Season Week 1 Preview
The first week of the 2010 NFL regular season begins Thursday at 8:30 pm EST as two of the best teams in the league in Minnesota and new Orleans go head to head. There are several other excellent match ups scheduled for week 1 including Carson Palmer and the Cincinnati Bengals at New England, Peyton Manning and the Colts at Houston, and Dallas at Washington on Sunday night. There are also two games scheduled for Monday night – Baltimore at the New York Jets and Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers at Kansas City.
