Week 2 NFL scores were pretty exciting. Among the week 2 NFL scores was an amazing finish in Houston. Other week 2 NFL scores included the Dallas Cowboys falling to 0-2 on the season, and the Baltimore Ravens falling to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Minnesota Vikings also fell to 0-2 on the season, losing to the Miami Dolphins in a tough game at home that showed Brett Favre still has a lot of rust going on in his arm.
Two of the biggest surprises right now have to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders, who both won on Sunday to improve to 2-0 on the season. Pretty remarkable for two teams that had seemed to set up residence in the first 10 picks of the NFL Draft for life.
Michael Vick also came up huge for the Philadelphia Eagles, putting down a Detroit Lions team that was also forced to use their back-up quarterback on Sunday. It was Vick’s first start at quarterback since 2006, and he made the most of the effort. Will Philadelphia stick with him with Kevin Kolb comes back? Or is Vick just auditioning for a new team in the 2011 NFL season?
The Houston Texans pulled out a great win over the Washington Redskins late on Sunday, coming back late in the fourth quarter, and then icing it with a field goal in overtime. For Washington, they are still looking much better than last season, but now Houston has first place to themselves in what has been a division owned by the Indianapolis Colts for most of recent memory.
In another other great match-ups, the New York Jets beat the New England Patriots with some great defense and timely offense.
Then there was Green Bay and Atlanta, that came out scoring quickly and often, blowing out their opponents, and proving that they do indeed have two of the best offenses in the NFL this year.
