Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) VS. MIAMI DOLPHINS: The Steelers have dominated the Dolphins over the years and they are much better team on both sides of the ball. QB Chad Henne has the tendency to turn the ball over and that will be a huge problem against the top defense in the league. PICK: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)
ATLANTA FALCONS (-3) VS. Cincinnati Bengals: The Falcons are one of the best betting team at home as the yare now 14-4 ATS their last 18. The Bengals are not a very good team and I cant see them keeping up with the potent Falcons offense. PICK: Atlanta Falcons (-3)
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-9) VS. Jacksonville Jaguars: This line is so high because both QB David Garrard and QB Trent Edwards will sit this one out with injuries. That leaves Todd Bouman as the starter and he was signed off the street a few weeks ago. Not a good way to go into a game against one of the bettter defense in the NFL. PICK: Kasnas City Chiefs (-9)
TENNESSEE TITANS (-3) VS. Philadelphia Eagles: Tricky game as Titans QB Vince Young hasnt practiced all week due to an injuried knee/ankle. The feeling is that he will play however and the Titans have given hell to opposing QB’s all season. All things being equal, I cant see Kevin Kolb going 3-0. PICK: Tennessee Titans (-3)
CHICAGO BEARS (-3) VS. Washington Redskins: The Redskins are very well-coached with Mike Shanahan anad have been in every game this season. The issue here is the fact that the Bears offense has been a joke lately, even with Jay Cutler back under center. The Redskins have the weapons on offense to steal this one here so take the points and dont look back. PICK: Washington Redskins (+3)
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-13.5) VS. Cleveland Browns: I didnt see the Browns covering this same line against one of the NFL’s best defenses last week which they didnt and I also dont see them covering this week versus one of the NFL’s best offenses. The Saints seemed to find their groove last week on the offensive side of the ball last week and so that bodes well for a nice effort here. PICK: New Orleans Saints (+13.5)
BALTIMORE RAVENS (-13) VS. Buffalo Bills: The Bills offense is a joke and you saw how they got mahandled against the New York Jets who play a similar defense to the Ravens. Baltimore is smarting off a tough loss last week against the Patriots wo they will be looking for a blowout. PICK: Baltimore Ravens (-13)
San Francisco 49ers (-3) VS. CAROLINA PANTHERS: Home underdog alert as these two doormats gets together. John Fox goes back to Matt Moore this week and the Panthers have always been a great bet when getting points under his coaching. The 49ers are a joke on offense with turnover-prone Alex Smith so taking the points is the right angle. PICK: Carolina Panthers (+3)
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (-2.5) VS. St. Louis Rams: This is a battle between two of the NFL’s upstart teams. The Rams have a ton of young talent that is starting to come together. The Buc’s on the other hand cant run the football and the defense got shredded last week against the Saints. PICK: St. Louis Rams (+2.5)
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-6) VS. Arizona Cardinals: The Seahawks shocked everyone when they were victorious on the road last week but this line is a tad of an overreaction to that. Seattle is all right but this is a lot of points for this team to give to anyone as they are still flawed in their own right. Arizona has gotten a spark by QB Max Hall and they will play loose. PICK: Arizona Cardinals (+6)
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (-3) VS. New England Patriots: The season could be on the line here for the Chargers and the saying goes you should always go with the more desperate team which in this case is San Diego. The Patriots will have a tough time replicating their huge win over the Ravens last week and they have to travel to the West Coast to boot. PICK: San Diego Chargers (-3)
DENVER BRONCOS (-8) VS. Oakland Raiders: This line is way too high for the Broncos to be giving to anyone since their defense is a joke. The Raiders have done well in the series the last few meetings and they should hang close here against a big division foe. PICK: Oakland Raiders (+8)
GREEN BAY PACKERS (-3) VS. Minnesota Vikings: Brett Favre returns to his old stomping grounds for the second time and he went 2-0 against the Packers last year. Green Bay is decimated with injuries right now and they will have a tough time keeping up with the improving Vikings passing game. Motivation squarely in favor of the visitors. PICK: Minnesota Vikings (+3)
DALLAS COWBOYS (-3) VS. New York Giants: The Cowboys are playing like idiots right now but they are the more desperate team here. Dallas can score with the best of the them but they havae to stop kicking themselves in the gut. The Giants have been doing great lately but they could be due for a dud. Right now desperation wins out. PICK: Dallas Cowboys (-3)
