This show is starting to take itself a little too seriously. Michael is obviously pining for Nikita and the New York “subway scenes,” were completely fake. Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca are good actors and are doing their best amongst the ridiculous plots.
Nikita is seen looking at a bunch of automatic weapons and takes one after the dealer tries to kill her.
An eastern European despot is getting released from prison among various protests. The Division helps him get released because Percy wants access to the man’s uranium. But another shady E. Euro faction also wants the uranium and is thwarted at the release when Percy and Michael set up a decoy. The attractive blond terrorist with the arresting accent gets annoyed that they missed grabbing their man. Meanwhile at the despot’s hotel, Percy finds out from Mr. despot that the uranium’s whereabouts are in a GPS device. Percy then tells Michael to get a new recruit to “entertain” their newly released prisoner. He specifically asks for Alex.
Meanwhile Alex is feeding information about The Division to Nikita while still playing that she can’t figure out how the computer works. Jaden – still with the distracting MJ nose – taunts her saying she can’t get it down because she was a junkie. In several flashbacks we find out that one year ago indeed Alex was a junkie. In a dirty black bob she is visiting a crack house for a fix. The drug dealer decides that since she can’t pay the right amount he’ll have sex with her to make up the difference. But Nikita beats him and his goons up and detoxes Alex in a portable sauna in her palatial loft.
Michael tells Alex that she’s “activated” early but won’t give her specifics, neither will Amanda. Michael unleashes Alex in the despot’s hotel suite and Mr. despot closes the door to the bedroom. Alex asks to freshen up but grabs the phone and calls Nikita with the deets of who she’s with and where. Nikita grabs her new heat-seeking-scope machine gun and heads over to kill the mf. But the gang, headed by the blond, show up first and grab the despot. Nikita fired one shot and Michael sees her out the window. He takes the cartridge and Birkhoff traces it back to a private dealer that Nikita got the gun from earlier.
Michael takes back one of the terrorists to HQ to be questioned. Nothing is working so they call in Amanda “the enforcer,” and she gets information that the blonde terrorist is the daughter of a slain inside man in the despot’s former inner circle. Got that?
Meanwhile both Nikita finds out where the blond terrorist’s van is (parked by a subway stop) and Birkhoff figures out the despot hid the GPS in a subway stop so everyone heads over there. The blondie leads Mr. despot down into the subway stop (34th St. stop home of the 1/9 J/M/Z – this is completely inaccurate), to a group of lockers (umm there are no lockers allowed in subway stops because of the World Trade Center attacks – helloo… bombs), he unlocks the locker and gets the bag with the presumed GPS inside. But Nikita grabs the bag from him and Michael shows up and proceeds to chase Nikita. She runs across the subway tracks – miraculously doesn’t get electrocuted by the third rail (which does kill people and another of the inaccuracies about the NYC subway here) throws the bag onto the tracks where a train runs it over and smashes the GPS.
Back at HQ Percy is pissed. Michael informs Alex that since she and Jaden got into a big brawl earlier now only have two weeks to get their acts together otherwise they’ll be finished.
A year ago after Alex was detoxed Nikita tells Alex that since they were in similar positions, Nikita just wants Alex to get clean, no strings attached. Nikita also says she knows that Alex is an orphan because Nikita killed her parents.
Next Episode: Nikita helps a journalist, Birkhoff gets interrogated by Amanda and the new recruits help Michael.

– Not sure how long this show will last, it’s getting a bit too much and takes itself way too seriously. Plus all the inaccuracies about the NYC subway were just sloppy.
