This show is starting to really get crazy ridiculous. Could you even follow the plot line? And there is zero, no make that sub-zero chemistry between Nikita and Michael (maybe because he looks like an older Dawson’s Creek Pacey) so their entanglements aren’t even sexy…
Alex gets into another fight with Jaden in order to get close to The Division’s info hub so she can get operations info to Nikita…
Nikita rescues Jill a freelance journalist from a murder set-up in a dark and desolate parking lot. Jill is played by Julie Gonzalo best known as Justin Long’s cheerleader gf in movie Dodgeball. Turned out that Jill has access to a video of a drug plane crash in South America that The Division was trying to help cover up so they had to kill her editor to frame her for the murder so she wouldn’t spill her “exclusive.” Even though Jill doesn’t know who Nikita is she still tells her everything because Nikita just looks trustworthy with her silent unsmiling stare. They set up an appointment with the video guy source for the next day.
Birkhoff and Michael search for Nikita by ransacking Jill’s apartment coming up empty. Back at HQ Percy is annoyed at Michael for not finding Nikita again. They’re convinced there’s a mole so Birkhoff is the obvious choice since he’s a computer whiz. Paging The Enforcer. Amanda body cavity searches Birk but really she only had to look into his mouth. Nikita bugged a molar so that gets yanked out. On America’s Next Top Model this would simply be called a makeover right Chelsey and Joanie?
Michael uses his new recruits, Jaden, Thom and Alex to help him find Nikita, Jill, Bueller, anyone? Alex finds some movie ticket stubs from where Jill met her video source; which of course was caught on CCTV and Birkhoff as usual identifies the source through the images! Déjà vu… isn’t that what happened last week?
The source doesn’t show up at the appointed time so Nikita goes to his apartment and they watch the juicy video. But Michael and his minions also show up at the apartment where the source gets shot, Nikita shoots the minions and gets into a one-on-one with Michael, snore, he loses and Nikita takes off… fade to black.
Fade to: Jill has broken her story and the airline head honcho goes to prison. Back at the parking lot Nikita warns Jill not to go digging around any more of The Division biz because it could spell t-r-o-u-b-l-e. Meaning character recurrence if the series lasts longer than three episodes. And then smashes her tape recorder for good measure.
Next Episode “Rough Trade”: Nikita gets rescued from a mission by Michael who is beginning to doubt Percy’s motives. Amanda helps Alex during a panic attack.
