Have ya heard Bill Clinton and Barack Obama on the stump lately? Barack Obama laid claim to the “scare tactics” way back when soon after the shoving of Obamacare down our throats he got arrogant and said “I dare Republican’s to run on repealing health reform.” (Paraphrased) Well smartass, they are and it seems to be working quite well. So much for the political acumen and arrogance of the “smartest man in the room.”
Would one not fairly call that an effort at “scare tactics?” Seems so to me. How about the scare tactic that “Republican’s will privatize social security?”
Consider: Obama has huge majorities in both House and Senate, yet he can’t get much of his desired agenda through, so how could Republicans’ do the things these pandering lefties accuse? For the record, it would take Republican’s picking up 112 seats in the House to repeal any law over what would surely be an Obama veto. And Republican’s would need 60 seats in the Senate and that is a mathematical impossibility. So until a Republican president is elected likely nothing the Obama Adminstration has ruined this nation with will be repealed.
Republican’s do not want to get rid of SSI. We do want to have young people begin to contribute more heavily to private retirement plans, but they will still need to contribute to SSI unless we are to leave the tens of millions on SSI in the cold and I do not know of any politician in any party advocating anything on that scale. See, more Democrat scare tactics.
Obama is flapping his gums that Republicans want to return us to pre-Obama days and he’s damn sure right about that. He’s so politically virginal that he doesn’t see only his base eats that mantra up….the rest of the nation considers that to be a POSITIVE thing, so Barry, unless you’re trying to elect Republicans, maybe ya oughta drop that one. Recall, in a Gallup Poll from 2 weeks ago, “70% of the nation’s citizens FAVOR Tea Party principles” so Barry, ya dolt, repealing your efforts are what we want. It’s only making Republican’s look more attractive the more ya say that. Smartest man in the room, my ass.
Has anyone been keeping up with the political punditry? Democrat pundits are wall to wall in admitting the Obama White House is completely inept in dealing with the citizens, Congress and the economy. Again, DEMOCRAT pundits are coming from their lairs to rather uniformly announce their disappointment that this is a White House completely inept in conducting normal political machinations. This is nothing but bullying. There is zero evidence of bipartisanship. To a progressive and often to Democrats as well, bipartisanship is defined as Republican’s going along and accepting the dicta of Democrats. BS.
When it comes to “scare tactics” Democrats are old pros at it. They have sown the seeds of “extremists; racists; bigots; homophobic rednecks” and all the rest. Their words of constant and uniform denigration are nothing more than scare tactics. To call fellow Americans such horrid names because they do not agree with the progressive agenda is totally an effort to sow the seeds of fear in the citizenry. That is the dictionary definition of a scare tactic, no?
For anyone who listens and does not swallow the party line in total, it is clear Democrats have one overarching tactic – to plant a fearful mindset in the brain of voters in hopes they will fear a change in leadership. Based on the Gallup Poll from 2 weeks ago, not only do citizens NOT fear such a change, but obviously they are all for it…well, 70% of us anyway. Keep it up Democrats. The hole you dig is for yourself, not Republicans, conservatives or Tea Party types. Dig baby, dig! Need some help? I got a strong back and one whole boat load of shovels.
Hey, ya think by “shovel ready projects” Barack meant burying Democrats? Nice!
