Yesterday’s One Nation Working Together rally was a sight to behold and a real treat to listen to. Big Ed Schultz promised he could outdraw Beck’s 8/28 Restoring Honor Rally. He was as miserably wrong about that as he is about most of the progressive nonsense he forwards.
On the main page of TheBlaze.com are two alternating photos. One is an aerial photo of the Beck rally, the other an aerial photo of the One Nation Working Together rally. Click my first link and then do a compare and contrast. If ya cannot see the Beck crowd was at least five times more populated, run to For Eyes, because all four of your eyes are clearly clouded. Sounds like a fatal dose of myopia to me.
Look at the pictures. The Beck rally extends way off to the sides of the Reflecting Pool. Beneath the trees on either side and far out from the trees were masses of people and guess what? Not a single one was paid by their union to attend, but as my son-in-law and daughter are union employees I know first hand they were PAID to attend previous union sponsored events such as Obama speaking. The Beck rally was individuals and groups going to a non-political rally. Yesterday’s One Nation rally was basically a union political rally for progressives. As my previous article demonstrates, Ed Schultz’s words were to “my union brothers and sisters.”
The One Nation rally crowd was tiny by comparison. Look at the pictures before ya must weight in and tell me I am wrong, okay? Honesty, for once, okay?
Add in the rally was scheduled from 12-4PM. As the rally wound down bands played to a nearly empty Mall area. Click the links on the Blaze main page and see for yourself. Plenty of video footage of an empty Mall. As one pundit wrote, it was an “absolute fail.”
In fact if one removed the union organization and likely paying it’s members to attend the rally, and riding the union and other progressive organizations paid for busing to the rally, it likely would have drawn a few thousand, not counting of course the odd few homeless or persons who inhabit the Mall on a pretty regular basis. I know…I am a DC area native.
And good old Harry Belafonte should have stuck to singing The Banana Boat song Day-O and fathering really hot looking daughters instead of his attending the rally and uttering things like “at the vanguard of this insidious attack [on the Constitution he was referring to] is the Tea Party. This band of misguided citizens is moving perilously close to achieving villainous ends. This rally is America’s wake up call.”
“Villainous ends” Harry? Supporting the Constitution as written and historically interpreted is “villainous?”To want to strictly adhere to the Founding principles is “villainous?” To believe the intent of the Founder’s and to live by those intents is problematic? For whom, exactly? Oh, that’s right – problematic for progressive political and social wishes, but clearly NOT problematic for the nation! As we all know, if it does not move in progressive lock step, it’s a real serious problem, right folks? My ass!
In closing, lemme pose this: Do the bright bulbs that were bussed to yesterday’s One Nation Working Together rally know of a new poll that demonstrates “70% of Americans support the Tea Party movement?” No?Go figure!
The One Nation crowd and supporters are not a majority. Yeah, they are 30% at most. We, the Tea Party supporters outnumber them by well more than 2 to 1. And it is we, according to the progressive mouthpieces and sycophants, who are the problem? There is little more satisfying to an evil and “insidious villain” as myself that to enjoy the sight as these folks swing from their own petards!
Of course, the truth is if they were just honest as to who they were and what they want, like a few yesterday who openly admitted they were advocating for full blown socialism, well at least then I could not so defame them. But when their mouthpieces lie about their goals and motives because they know to openly admit what they desire would relegate them to the ash heap of political power, well, I have no respect for them. I do not respect liars and prevaricators. And they only compound it by calling themselves the true holders of our Founder’s principles.
In just 30 short days from this second we will show them just who the majority are and just what said majority thinks of all the progressive mouthpieces characterizing conservative and traditional Americans as “evil, villainous,” etc.
Any takers that even after they get trounced like red headed step children they still won’t get it, or admit they do even if they hate the reality? Honesty is a virtue – not a talking point – dolts!
