The Orange Miami is a simple, ergonomically sound mobile telephone, not only is it sleek and light, it also has a touchscreen and will work with a touch pen. Not only that it is a bargain at under 40 quid.
Looking at the Orange Miami Mobile Phone, you will be forgiven for thinking you are looking at a miniature i-phone. But for a budget mobile you wouldn’t go wrong in taking one home.
Some great features of the phone are the mini SD card storage facility, a long life battery, 2 megapixel camera (which isn’t half bad) and the ability to upload from the internet.
I have a little trick for those Orange Miami users, one that will get you a much better browsing experience on the Internet than using the built in Orange World Browser.
Downloading Opera Mini for mobile phones is a must, the speeds are much quicker and you do get to use many great mobile browsing features on your favorite social networks that you can’t with Orange World.
You can connect the telephone to your computer via USB cable that is supplied, and should be plug and play, and straight forward to load the software. Remember to pick up your phone and click ok on your touchscreen for Mass Storage, so your computer recognizes the phone.
I don’t want to bang on about the other features such as:
– FM Radio with headphones supplied.
– Some may have a voucher inside the box for a free speaker for signing to Monkey for music uploads.
– You get the obvious telephone number, SIM card and Top Up Card.
– Great Internet Packages with Dolphin.
– You get a built in mp3 player.
– Games and game demo’s.
– Many of the standard features you generally find on a mobile phone.
– A large screen.
– Great sound.
– Many ringtones.
– No numeric keypad, it is basically a fully touchscreen gadget!
I do have to say I am very impressed with the Orange Miami Mobile Telephone, for under £40 this is probably as close to a perfect moby as you are going to buy. I do find that there is only one small problem with screen freeze, but I can cope with that as I know other phones that are much more expensive have the same problem.
You may also want to go out and buy a decent protective pouch for the Orange Miami, the screen is easy to scratch, as it is with any mobile telephone.
