I was watching TV this morning, and was completely intrigued by an infomercial for a product I had never heard of before- “pajama jeans”. Checking out the website (pajamajeans.com, appropriately) I found out that these are jeans made of cotton and spandex, with a “Dormisoft” lining that feels “just like a baby’s blanket” and look and feel like “real” jeans. Complete with back pockets, stitching down the sides, and brass rivets, these “jeans” look like the real McCoy- without the discomfort of trying to squeeze your fat ass into a pair of actual jeans!
I actually want a pair, and at $39.95 (plus shipping and handling), you can order your own pair of “pajama jeans” from size XS to 3XL, and get a gray cotton crew neck t-shirt to complete your outfit in style and comfort. Hot damn! The “pajama jeans” only come in a dark wash, and have a cute sideways diamond stitch in the back pockets, and there are no zippers or buttons to worry about- just slip them on and go! The stretchy fabric is toted to hug and fit any body type successfully, and the style of the jeans is a straight leg with a slight flare at the bottom that looks fashionable enough for me to want to try out.
I actually had a pair of “jeans” like this once- from LEI, I think. They were a dark blue pant that looked more like work out pants than jeans, but actually had a zipper and a button on them, and I really liked them. I think I will give these “pajama jeans” a try- I mean, what is more cozy than wearing pajamas all day long, and having pajama bottoms that appear to look like “real” jeans?! Why didn’t they think of this sooner!
These “pajama jeans” would be a great Christmas gift for all 3 of my sisters, who love to live entirely in sweats and pajama bottoms. I think I’m going to get my mom a pair, too. I know I certainly want a pair for myself, and based on how the “pajama jeans” looked on the infomercial and the website, I think they would be a huge hit! Check out the website yourself- somebody is sure to love this cool “pajama jeans” for Christmas! It looks like a great gift especially for Grandma, who is having trouble with her zippers and buttons lately due to her aging hands, yet still wants to be stylish. I know if my Grandma were still alive, she’d have me buy her at least 3 pairs.
Just a quick little thought as to what to give your lounging princess for Christmas this year. I know at least 4 people who are going to get a pair, and I just may treat myself with a pair of these. They look cool, fairly inexpensive, and certainly intriguing. Check them out yourself at pajamajeans.com
