I’m a conservative. Obama is not a man I feel I can trust. However, I’m going to surprise you and say that Sarah Palin is irresponsible and, while she wants to “call out” Obama for his inadequacies, maybe she needs to be called out also.
David A. Patten has written an article at the Newsmax website titled “Palin Warns of ‘Armageddon,’ ‘Third World War’ in Exclusive Newsmax Broadcast.”
When Sarah Palin was first chosen to run for vice president, I felt sorry for her. She was attacked because she was reasonably attractive and not given the benefit of the doubt; she was treated like an airhead. Her family was attacked, and I thought, with all the moaning about sexism, that when a woman got into a position of getting elected, was this how we were going to treat her?
Then, however, after losing the election, not surprisingly, Palin resigned her governorship and took to the money circuit — and make money she has. She has made appearance after appearance, written a book and of course taken pot shots at the administration. That is par for the course. However, now she has spoken authoritatively about something she apparently knows nothing about.
Palin claims that allowing Iran to obtain nuclear weapons could lead to Armageddon. Sarah doesn’t know what she is talking about, unless she was visited by God prior to her commentary.
I’m a Bible student (formal) and have been for years. You see, Armageddon is a biblical thing having to do with the return of Christ, not a man-made “end of the World” thing, and yes I know that is what many people think. But Iran having 52 billion nuclear weapons will not make Christ come back any more quickly than He said he would come back; He said no one knew the time except God, that is, as I said, unless he has recently shared it with Palin, which I doubt.
There are few things that make me angry, but people who talk about the end of the world is one of those things. You see, here are regular, everyday people who have enough on their minds just getting through life, and then here is a bigmouth who just says something inaccurate on a whim and scares them silly to make a little more money and get a little more fame.
If you want to know what is going to happen, read Revelation. You may not believe in God and you may not believe the Bible. In that case, you would not believe me. However, Palin’s inaccurate version of this information is based on mine, so why believe her?
Is Iran having nuclear weapons a good thing? No it is not. However, it is not going to bring Armageddon. By definition, based on what the Bible says, this earth will not be destroyed until about 1,000 years after Christ returns, and his return is Armageddon.
Whether you believe the information or not, let’s get the information right.
