Pantene Pro-V’s new haircare line is pretty close to salon quality. If you have a “special need” (colored, fine, thick or curly hair), there is a system just for you. I recently tried out Pantene’s haircare line for color-treated hair and was pretty impressed by the immediate results that I experienced.
The first thing you notice about this new system is the smell. If you have ever used Pantene, you know that it has a distinct scent. This new system is less “Pantene” and more “salon.” In other words, this is Pantene’s grown-up cousin. The shampoo has a very nice consistency that is not too thin and not too thick. It is just enough to give you that rich lather that most of us women love.
The conditioner also had a great consistency. It came out thick and creamy and almost melted into my hair the minute I put it in. I left the conditioner in for two or three minutes before I rinsed it out and dried my hair. The minute I stepped out of the shower, I could see a difference in my hair’s texture. Once my hair dried, I found myself with the most silky and soft hair, which smelled fantastic, I might add. I was so pleased with my results that I (within minutes) was sharing this product with other people.
I started this system while on vacation, and one of my house guests was complaining of damaged hair as a result of over-processing. Her hair was so damaged that she was afraid to wash it, because her hair was beginning to break off. I told her about the results that I saw in my own hair after just one use of Pantene’s Color Solutions, so I was anxious to share my “new wealth” with her. I immediately handed her the shampoo, conditioner, and the color nourishing treatment. Once she stepped out of the shower, it was easy to see the drastic difference in her hair. She was so happy with it that she made me feel how soft her hair was. She looked like she had just stepped out of a salon and that she had plopped hundreds of dollars down to get a professional treatment.
Pantene’s new color system isn’t just for people with colored hair. It can also be extremely nourishing for people with hair damaged from the heat or from simple mistreatment. My nephew (who was also on vacation with us) told me he was getting tired of his hair, which resembled that of Zac Efron. When I asked him why he was getting tired of it, he mentioned that it was just starting to feel “weird.” After more questioning, I realized his hair was simply becoming damaged because of drying out. I told him I had a great conditioner, and he should try it out. After I didn’t see him for 15 minutes, I realized he had gone to take a shower and use the product. Even my 14 year old nephew saw instant results from Pantene’s Color Preserve Conditioner.
Pantene’s new Color Solutions line is a must have. The color line has formulas for shine, volume and smoothness. This company has made “salon hair” possible for the price of your morning latte. If you color your hair or are seeing damage because of drying, you must go out and pick this up!
