According to Mail Online, a young British woman dyed her cat pink to match her own pink hair. The British woman claims to love the color pink and thought nothing of it when she rubbed pink dye on her cat so that she would have a pink cat. Authorities in Britain had been trying to locate the person who dyed the cat pink (Mail Online, 2010).
While many think that making a pink cat is cruel, this woman thinks nothing of it. The woman dyes her own hair, so apparently she thinks that it is alright to do the same to a cat. What this British woman doesn’t understand is that a cat constantly grooms themselves by licking their fur. Wow-what an overload to a liver.
Is it no wonder the pink cat disappeared from this home? It is unclear at this point whether or not the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) will return the pink cat to its owner.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, a pink cat appears. Are we so unhappy with our appearances that we now feel compelled to include our pets in our never ending pursuit of looking prettier and more attractive?
