I’m a fan of Coach fashion, but I’m not too in to their fragrances. I like them okay, but I haven’t smelled one that I was thrilled about-until now.
Poppy is their newest fragrance. It is in a vintage but girly type bottle. It reminds me of Fancy by Jessica Simpson. The bottle has that same appeal.
I assumed Poppy would be like their other fragrances-good but bland. I was wrong. The first notes that hit me were pink grapefruit and strawberry. I then started to smell notes that reminded me of sweet lemonade.
For some reason, every time I smell certain fruits in a fragrance, it always reminds me of fruity bubblegum. The strawberry in the fragrance smelled like Bubblicious strawberry bubblegum. It also smelled like strawberry Pop Rocks candy.
I waited a while and let the scent sit on my skin (not that it needed to because I was already sold), and new notes started to emerge-warm notes to be exact. It smelled like sweet musk and vanilla.
The whole entire fragrance smelled like a fragrance that I used to have called Hollywood Pink Flamingo. It was a second edition to Hollywood Pink, which was created by Mark cosmetics. I used to sell Mark when I was in high school.
The fragrance is practically perfect-at least for me. It has all the sweet, fruity, and creamy notes that it needs, and I’m lovin’ it! I definitely recommend this fragrance. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
It is $60 for 1.7 oz., and $38 for the purse size spray, which is .34 oz.
