Messianic Judaism is a religious movement that has been effective in drawing in Christians who feel dissatisfied with the bad teachings ministers have taught. For instance, when they preach about purity and forgiveness they contradict themselves in their words. Their words do not match with their actions and their testimony backfires on them. When Christians say to love one another the people who claim to be Christian say it but don’t practice their love with obedience to what God says to do. Truly practicing ones religion is holding your tongue from speaking deceitfully and not doing the things God doesn’t want you to do. Loving one another is doing what God says and if someone believes in God they should do what He says and not become idle and lazy, or try to twist The Truth.Laziness produces poverty and that can really take effect in the community, and the town where people live and work. The commands are so simple to read, and easy to understand, but how often do people do it. Once they see and listen to God’s commands in their churches, synagogues, and worship services they forget to obey, and do them. In fact, so many churches out there are simply not focusing their attention to the Torah, the instructions to life, and the way of life. For I believe that Jesus of Nazarene was, and still is the walking manifestation of Torah, and is the ultimate source of Godliness.
Love is an abstract word that encompasses a wide range of emotions. I believe that the greatest love is the love God shows when He gave us the Scriptures, and choose for Himself to taste dead. God tasted death through Jesus Christ when He died on the tree and rose on the third day.
Love is more crucial than respect. For without love respect, I think would be useless. For, what is the reason for respecting someone. For self-praise? Or, because you love them with all your heart? It is better to show genuine love to each other than to just show respect. How does one show respect, or for that matter love for a parent? By doing what they say to do. This is where honoring them comes at hand. But, what if a parent forces a child to disobey a command from God? For example, defiling the Sabbath and working on that day. Mowing the lawn on a Sabbath is working on that day. So, then this is when the test of faith comes in. It is better to obey God who is the Comforter than to obey the earthly father. What I am trying to say is that does who have parents and are living amongst them constantly should respect their parents because of love, and not because of fear. It is God who can destroy both flesh and spirit that we should be afraid of. In the bible with translation of the New International Version (@1984) Proverbs Chapter 1:7 it reads: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”
