Prediction of Barack Obama’s 2012 Reelection Platform

by bogbit

Barack Obama is so predictable as to be a walking talking conduit for transmission of future intentions. He’s so shallow and lacking nuance, he could drown in a thimble full of water! He’s too smart for us to grasp his erudite thoughts and presentations? Puleeeze! He’s an arrogant narcissist who actually believes the hype that he is too good for DC. He didn’t fail us, DC and we citizens failed him cause he’s just too damned advanced for us to grasp, right?

Based on what we know and have seen from the mouth that roared, here is what I think is coming in 2011 and beyond. First, the facts. Obama will lose his House majority in a huge way. As for the Senate or Governorships, I don’t care at all. The Senate is a debating club with little real power but for foreign policy oversight, approving of Federal judges, diplomats and Federal government officials and of course they are a legislative rubber stamp. Governorships are local politics.

Having lost his entire power base he will be a stammering, prevaricating, misleading and obfuscating figurehead with a piss poor attitude that any failure is not his fault, but Bush’s, Republican’s and them not too damned smart citizens. We aren’t the ones that failed you Barack. You failed us big time. You make Millard Fillmore and Jimmy Carter look like visionaries! You personally remind me of Stalin in your arrogance and Neville Chamberlain in your naivete.

His main argument will be having a hostile, Republican controlled House blocked his agenda and created gridlock. He will continue to deflect any responsibility for his own policies. The hypocrisy in blaming a Republican House will be clear when we recall the last two of Bush’s eight years were with a progressive Congress that launched more than 300 Congressional investigations into everything Bush Administration? Didn’t the left then lay all the blame on Bush, regardless of Democrats controlling both House and Senate?

Have we forgotten Barney Frank and Maxine Waters assuring us Fannie and Freddie were fine, and in fact being admonished that if we asked probing questions of Fannie or Freddie we might lead to a failure due to a lack of public confidence? Forget that have we? Do I need to present the video sources from YouTube for ya?

Forget that the last two years of the Bush second term were dependent upon the Democrat House Ways & Means Committee approving the budget? The Democrat Charlie Rangel chaired House Ways & Means Committee? For the unwashed, all spending must come from this committee – ways meaning how to spend it, and means meaning where it comes from – OUR TAXES! Maybe if some wanna deride the Bush spending for the last two years they should man up and confess that it took a Democrat controlled House and Ways & Means chairmanship to approve any of it. Honesty, anyone?

Barack’s agenda for the next two years is, like progressivism, off the rails. He will position himself as the nice guy trying to save the nation from the evils of Republicans. He will continue to express any disagreement with his policies as collusion against him or because, as we have already seen, any failure of his policies is because citizens are not smart enough to understand him.

He will of course continue to pit classes of Americans against one another. He’ll play it as if only he and his supporters have any caring or desire for the less fortunate and will pay lip service that he’s the sole protector of the little guy. He is the Superman off who’s chest bounce the bullets of capitalists trying to get rich on the back of the little guy. He will repeat he’s all that stands between average Joe’s and the big evil companies.

Obama will not grant any premise that demonstrates the nation backs Tea Party principles and NOT his agenda. He will not allow any discussion of the concept of the US being a nation constituted to be run with “the consent of the governed.” He will continue to assault our intelligence and our Constitution.

Of course unless Republicans gain 112 seats in the House and every Democrat Senate seat up for reelection in 2010, we cannot override an Obama veto of Republican wishes. We could pass a bill in the House and Senate to repeal Obamacare, but without “veto-proof” majorities, an Obama veto would stand until we elect a Republican president and House majority in 2012. Reality is unless Obama moderates cave, there will be gridlock. However isn’t gridlock preferable to really bad legislation that the citizens are clearly against?

Obama will try to use the coming gridlock as proof of his purity. He will use it to paint any legislative disagreements as hate being projected onto him by a racist nation run by the hidden cabal of capitalists power brokers opposing his pure and loving agenda.

I can’t say for sure if he’ll promise to stop the rising seas again. I can’t say if he’s gonna assure us “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for,” once again. I don’t honestly know if he’ll embark on another world tour so he can defame the nation on foreign soil again, but nothing he does really surprises me any longer. I don’t know if he’ll again assure us Obamacare will reduce health costs despite the evidence to the contrary.

What happened to reducing the deficit on a year to year basis? What happened to unemployment? Is there really a single soul left in this nation that believes with Democrat controlled Congress for four years and the White House for the last two years, that everything is still the fault of Bush and Republicans? Republicans who cannot introduce any legislation? Those same Republicans in the minority who head NO committees? The Republicans who cannot stop any piece of Democrat legislation no matter how much they wish to?

Obama brought the heat but it was rather chilly and he’s deflating faster than a balloon sat on by a fat person. The nation has screamed “NO!” in no uncertain terms and that’s why Obama failed and will continue to do so with the one caveat that his only hope for reelection will be if he pulls a Clinton and moves way to the center. Lacking that he will blame everyone but himself and Democrats.

And this is hope and change? An end to uber partisanship? A centrist approach? A new kind of politician? He is without a doubt the most arrogant and narcissistic president I am familiar with. The hate in his eyes is apparent. He is not the president of all the people. He represents unions, ACORN and the progressive agenda seeking to morph this nation into a socialistic empire. Is there a person with two brain cells that would argue this isn’t the fact, except of course the follow alongs and the die hard progressive?
