Pumpkin Spice Frosted Snack Cake
To make the “Pumpkin Spice Frosted Cake” you will need to gather together the following ingredients;
• 2 tbsp. milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 package (2 layers) spice cake mix
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin puree
• 1 pkg. (8oz.) softened cream cheese
• 1 cup Miracle Whip Dressing
Begin by preheating the oven to 350 Degrees F and greasing a 13×9 inch square baking pan. Proceed by taking a large electric mixer bowl and adding the pumpkin, eggs, dressing and cake mix into it on medium speed until well blended.
Next pour the well blended batter into the prepared baking pan. Place the baking pan into the oven and bake for 35 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While the cake is baking begin to prepare the frosting. Take a clean large electric mixing bowl and add the cream cheese, vanilla, milk and butter into it and mix it on medium speed. Once it is well blended slowly add in the sugar, blending as you go, until all the sugar has been combined into the frosting.
Once the cake is done remove it from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Then take the frosting and spread it over the cooled cake.
Cut and serve the cake immediately or place in into the refrigerator until you are ready to eat it. This recipe should yield 24 servings.
