One way to establish what may or may not be hot during the upcoming season is to follow the trends on the run ways. Yes, top designers do have a way of deciding what all of us soon may be wearing. What was hot during the last New York Fall Fashion Week, which was held last February, giving all designers time to copy the top designers? Here is a sampling:
Yes, these shiny colors of Gold, Silver, Copper and Bronze were once only colors we would wear at night. Yet, now they have been brought into the day light and into the work place.
One style many designers love is the cute little metallic top or blouse added with a new camel jacket.
The new neutral color is Camel
No, we won’t have to give up our love for black, gray or navy. But we can splash up our love for neutrals by adding the color the camel to our look this fall. Camel is the hot new color whether it be in our accessories (think purses, bags), our shoes and boots to our jackets.
Denim is here to stay
For those of us to that love denim, our fabric is still popular. You can find it in skirts, jackets, vests and of course our favorite jeans.
Real fur is out, out, out and with any luck will totally stay that way. Yet, faux fur is all the rage this fall. Faux fur can be found in complete coats or small little touches of it added to the collars of coats, sweaters or just a hint of it on bags, purses, boots and shoes. This year it also comes in a variety of colors including yellow and blue.
Will all of these looks be found at your local department store or high end store? Only a trip to your favorite store or two will answer that question. Guess now that we have got a recap of New York’s Fall Fashion week, we also all have an excuse to go shopping, as if we really needed one.
