Taking Back the Ice Harbor starts with the player in control of several bullfrogs filled with infantry, that should be launched directly in the center of the island to be cleared. The Co-commander will follow with their troops, and the both of you should work on eliminating as many units as possible while trying not to lose too many. Eventual however, the causalities will rise, and stingrays will be granted to help finish the job. Once the island is clear, MCVs are granted, allowing the player to set up on the west side of the island while the co-commander establishes their base on the east.
A dry dock exists to the east that should be captured quickly with an engineer to elongate the lifespan of naval units under friendly command. Just north of the dry dock lay the power generators along with a small Imperial refining and infantry training base. Capturing the Refinery here allows the construction of an advance base while simultaneously securing extra resources. From here the naval base now isolated to the south of the power generators can be easily taken down, since its defenses are now offline. Just north is also a hospital that will benefit all infantry when captured, along with an Imperial barracks guarded by a turret further north of that.
Taking care of the southern naval base grants the Dreadnoughts that where laying deactivated there. These units should be guarded carefully, as while incredibly useful, are irreplaceable in this mission. With them it becomes an easier task to wipe out the northern naval base, and the Imperial forces stationed on the land nearby. Having units reach the land of the northern dock grants the player and co-commander access to some damage Barracks that were previously deactivated.
Use the barracks on the northern dock to pump out a ground attack force that can push north, clearing the imperial land forces while naval units preoccupy themselves with taking out that northern naval factory. After clearing the dock, the ground units can attack the strong naval units in the harbor. When everything but the final north east tip of the map has been conquered, the Imperials launch a sneak attack on the co-commanders base, coming from the south east. Divert forces if needed to prevent these surprise forces from overwhelming your bases, then move with the co-commanders help, and flood all remaining fighting units to the Imperial admin building.
The final battle at the Imperial palace is a strong one, the palace throwing up an impenetrable shield once it takes 25% damage, and causing waves of enemy units to reinforce the area. Make sure to avoid the suicide bombers that attack, as these can rip apart clustered units. After the reinforcements are downed, the shield drops, and the palace is free to be fired upon by your weapons, bringing about its destruction and this mission’s victory.
