Red Ginger is a really great place. It’s located in the Winn Dixie shopping center in Bluewater Bay, Florida, near Beef O’Brady’s. I’m going to talk about the prices and some of the dishes that I had there. When you’re through reading this review, you’ll have enough information to decide whether or not to eat there.
As far as prices go, they’re fairly reasonable. For lunch, you can get a lunch box for eight dollars and fifty cents, and that’s more than enough food for one person (meat, vegetables, rice, soup, salad, and sushi), especially for lunch. For dinner time, you’re looking at anywhere between ten and fifteen dollars for a full meal. Usually, it’s an average of twelve dollars for dinner.
If you’re going here, I’d suggest trying the tempura. I’ve gotten the chicken. It comes with chicken, tempura vegetables, rice, soup, and salad. The chicken was not my thing, although it had a very interesting taste. The best part about this meal was definitely the vegetables. The tempura fried vegetables were pretty good. They included broccoli, squash, sweet potatoes, beans, and other veggies that I couldn’t quite identify. Definitely recommend the tempura vegetables.
I think the teriyaki is where this place really shines. I’ve gotten several of the meats, but again, I like the chicken. It comes with the chicken teriyaki, vegetables in teriyaki sauce, rice, soup and salad. The chicken was amazing. It tasted so great. The vegetables weren’t as good as the tempura veggies, but they were still very good. Any time I go to Red Ginger, this is what I get. Highly recommend that entree.
I definitely haven’t gone over everything they’ve got on their menu. They’ve got a large selection of sushi, and several dozens of chicken, steak and pork dishes. There’s no way I could ever try it all.
I highly recommend this place if you’re in Niceville or Bluewater Bay and looking for some great Asian fare. It’s great food and a pretty good price, and you’re definitely going to get enough food here. So go on out there and get yourself some great teriyaki or tempura dishes for yourself. While you’re at it, take a good look at the decoration.
