Snuffy’s Malt Shoppe is a must try for a family. Art and décor are set in the 1950’s with loud red and white checkered walls and menus. The atmosphere is electric, fun and allows a family to cut loose. Since 1916 Snuffy’s has been locally famous for their burgers, fries and malts. Handling parties well over thirty, Snuffy’s is easily a great place to take your family and hang out in fifties style.
The Rainforest Café at the Mall Of America is worth a trip for the family. It is so engaging with all the aquariums surrounding the tables. The Wild Bunch, a fun and excited group of rain forest creatures roam around the café and visit with kids as they dine. One of the all time favorites of any family going to the Rainforest Café is the molten cake and ice cream dessert with sparklers on the top. From the first step in the door to the last ooh and ahh, this is an all time favorite spot for families to dine.
Each restaurant has its own unique quality that lends itself to family and fun, and the food is great too. Wait staff is snappy with crayons, coloring menus or pages, crackers and a barrage of fun to keep little hands busy and entertained.
