As some big companies are disappearing from the market, in particular Max Factor, which has disappeared from shelves in the United States, new names are appearing.
On my last trip to Wal-mart, which is almost, literally, the only place to shop for cosmetics where I live besides Target and K-mart – I was pleased to see a new brand in the cosmetics aisle – “Hard Candy.”
This is a glamorous line of cosmetics perfect for clubbers – or people in Branson, Missouri – who love to dress up and add a little glam and glitz.
I couldn’t resist Hard Candy’s Glow All the Way Face and Body Luminizer, infused with 24-karat gold This lotion adds a nice irridescent glow and a little fine sparkle to your skin wherever you apply it. You can wear it bare, put foundation over the top or just add a fine dusting of translucent powder. It’s great for casual, dress-up or any time, at all.
This lotion is only $8.00 at Wal-mart and comes in two shades. You can try “Doll Face,” which will give you a pink glow or “Glamazon Bronze” for a light golden shimmer.
This moisturizer is light-weight and very lightly scented. It seems to be a good day-time facial moisturizer.
This entire product line is a reason to actually look forward to going to Wal-mart. It is highly innovative and, although, it is a minor consideration, the packaging of the products is very attractive making them look like they should cost more than they actually do.
